Meraki HR was founded in 2014

Emma Browning MA, FCIPD, founded Meraki HR at the end of 2014, after over 30 years of working in the corporate world.

Building the team

Since then, Emma has searched for the best people to join Meraki HR, and we now have a small but perfectly formed team of HR professionals and qualified Coaches. Our team all share our passion for people and our values coupled with significant experience of successfully delivering professional, commercial and practical HR, Training and Coaching solutions.

Having been an employee, manager and Director and having managed her own teams for the last 25 years, Emma knows how important it is to have great employees. It’s not luck, its hard work, experience and great people processes which have ensured Emma’s had great people in her own teams and the businesses she’s worked in! You will often hear Emma saying “You don’t have a great business without great people.”

Big brand experience

Emma gained a wealth of experience in a number of well known companies such as Porsche Cars Great Britain Ltd as HR Manager, where she completed her Masters degree in the Management of Innovation and Change and finally in her role as HR Director for Harley-Davidson EMEA, where she became a qualified MBTI and Gallup Strengths Coach.

Early SME Experience

Emma’s early career in operations and sales, led her to HR in 2000, for a small, well regarded local company; Oxford Instruments. Emma started as an HR Business Partner at Oxford Instruments, where she studied to become a qualified HR professional at Oxford Brookes.
