“Giving Back to the Community” feels good and does good. We encourage our clients to work with charities and give their teams paid time off to volunteer as there are huge benefits in doing so, such as increased employee loyalty and employee engagement, which ultimately leads to better business results!
At Meraki HR, we practice what we preach, and we believe in giving back to our community. We have worked with a number of local charities and have made significant donations to those charities, held fundraising events for our chosen charities and have worked with charities who we felt needed our HR and Coaching support on a pro-bono basis.
Our chosen charity is Sobell House Hospice in Oxfordshire. They offer specialist palliative care to those facing life threatening illness, death and bereavement. This encompasses physical, psychological, social and spiritual care and includes supporting their families and those close to them. They care for around 3,000 patients and their families every year.
